Aktion Österreich - Slowakei First Project Meeting

Following several online meetings, the first Aktion Österreich - Slowakei  Researching and designing training for audiovisual translation – good practice and innovation took place at the beginning of June, 2022 in Nitra, Slovakia. The meeting included researchers and trainers from Austria and Slovakia and focused on audiovisual translation (AVT) and accessibility (A) training needs. To this end, a Questionnaire investigating the AVT and A trainers’ practices, together with the professional and technological developments in the areas of AVT & A, their implications on university trainers and training in the two countries was designed and implemented. The questionnaire was then circulated to trainers in both countries with a view to using the answers in shaping the future training guidelines resulting from the project.
